Police is investigating a matter in which a patient jumped from the balcony of the 8th floor of Kiruddu Hospital on Friday, and instantly died.
The spokesperson of Police Kampala Metropolitan Patrick Onyango confirmed the incident and identified the deceased as Faustin Musinzi (56), a resident of Kisozi, Gomba District.
He said, police was called in, picked the body and took it to the city mortuary, but are yet to establish what prompted Faustin to take his life.
According to reports, the deceased was a kidney patient, and has been receiving dialysis at the facility. It was also reported that he also had phenemonia at the time of admission, but had improved.
