As the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards draws nearer, preparations are underway to bring Africa’s most sought for red-carpet fashion awards to life.
The ASFAs as they are commonly known 2019 model casting took place last night 17th November 2019 and saw hundreds of ambitious models from in and around Africa flocked The Abryanz fashion store for model casting.
Over 234 models graced the casting full of expectations to show their modeling talents at the ASFAs runway. They were reduced to 80 from which only 60 were selected to showcase on the grand ASFA 2019 awarding ceremony.
The model scouting was spearheaded by 4 successful international fashion models who were the main official models scouts joined by Ugandan celebrated fashion like Joram muzira , Judith heard among others. The model casting was open to all races, ethnicity, age groups of 15-22 years.
Females were recommended to be at height of At least 5’9 and the males had to be at least 6’ and not signed to any modeling agency. No experience was required at all. The model casting was absolutely free and ran between 9am to 4pm. Watch out, this years event could be historical!
