Renown Disk Jockey, Nimrod Nabeta, also known as DJ Nimrod has been arrested by the joint security task force for distributing food in disregard to the presidential directives.
According to the Kampala metropolitan police spokesperson, Patrick Onyango, Nimrod was arrested with another DJ only known as DJ Shafick.
“The duo was picked by security team from Makindye Division, Kampala while distributing food” Onyango added.
It was also reported that instead of Nimrod distributing food to the allocated group ( DJ’s ) he instead called the local people and started distributing it without observing the social distance and hence did totally the opposite of what he was expected to do.
Police says that the duo of Nimrod and Shafiq is detained at Katwe police station on charges of engaging in negligent acts likely to spread infectious diseases as investigations continue .
