Self proclaimed African Boy, John Kasadha aka John Blaq has parted ways with Black Magic Records over yet-to be known reasons though, allegations show they are close to a disagreement and disrespect.
In 2018, as John Blaq started his career when his cousins Kenneth and Norman signed him on a gentleman’s agreement and that was the birth of their management team BLACK MAGIC RECORDS.
Since then, John Blaq has achieved a lot in the industry from releasing top hit songs , top notch quality videos, awards, music tours and above all, a successful concert towards the end of 2019.
Sources revealed that when money started coming in and stardom got onto his head, John Blaq started disrespecting his managers. he even reminded them how they abandoned their auditing jobs to manage him.
After realizing that John Blaq’s character had started changing, they asked him to sign a contract which he refused and assured them that they are his brothers and he can’t run away from them.
Rumors indicate that John Blaq started dating a lady who told him that he needed to go international since he had hit the Ugandan market but his record label couldn’t take him past Uganda.
The lady (names with held) promised to take his career to new levels and convinced John Blaq to ditch Black Magic Records.
Apparently, John Blaq lost all his social media pages including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and twitter to his former management which claims it’s their property and have since changed the pages into the names of Black Magic Records.
The management team is also open to signing new artists with a female artist already signed to the label.
John Blaq through his lawyer and PRO said he’s currently managing himself and he’s working so hard to recover all his social media pages.
He added that in a weeks time, he will hold a press conference to give a formal communication about all these issue and also introduce his new management team.
