At least three people and a vehicle are believed to be trapped bellow rubble after a stone quarry in Namulanda collapsed and buried them.
According to police, the incident happened today at around 6:30 at Nganjo Cell, Kajjansi Town Council Wakiso District as the three were loading crushed stones on an ISUZU elf truck.
Without identifying the victims, Metropolitan Kampala Deputy police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire said police fire rescue services had arrived at the scene but were waiting for an excavator to help in recovery of those trapped.
