The FUFA Electoral Committee has today declared and released a list of 69 duly elected delegates to the FUFA General Assembly for the 2025-2029 term. These elections were conducted countrywide at the Regional Football Associations level, Big League, National Women Leagues and Special Interest Groups.

The FUFA General Assembly comprises 88 delegates but the Uganda Premier League clubs will each send a delegate to complete the Assembly.

Meanwhile, due to a petition from a nominated candidate, the electoral exercise in the North East (Teso region) was postponed by the FUFA Electoral Committee. A new date will be communicated for the election of the remaining three delegates to the FUFA Assembly.

As it stands, 69 out of 88 Delegates are known. The remaining slots are 16 for the 16 clubs in the Uganda Premier League (UPL) and 3 for North East (Teso) bringing the total to 88.

The FUFA Electoral Committee has also confirmed that the electoral process will continue with Members of FUFA proposing candidates for the office of the FUFA President as per article 40(2) of the FUFA Statutes.

The FUFA General Assembly will be held on 5th July 2025 in Hoima.
