It was a scene of chaos this morning as Dr. Kizza Besigye’s supporters exchanged punches and kicks with security operatives, turning the temple of justice into an arena of sorts.
It all started when Besigye’s supporters led by Ingrid Turinawe saw suspicious faces in the courtroom before the hearing of the case kicked off. Ingrid Turinawe started taking pictures of the gentlemen who turned out to be plain-clothed security operatives. This however angered the operatives who snatched Ingrid Turinawe’s phone. But Ingrid had her own security guards and they couldn’t allow things to just happen that way.
