Entebbe, Uganda 21 July 2025 – The Uganda Police Force has announced a substantial reward of UGX 50,000,000 (fifty million shillings) for information leading to the arrest of the individuals responsible for the brutal murder of a couple in Entebbe on Sunday, July 6, 2025.
Mr. Mutaaga David and his wife, Deborah Florence Mutaaga, were found deceased in their Entebbe home, prompting a collaborative investigation by the police and other security agencies.
In a statement released today, ACP Kituuma Rusoke, spokesperson for the Uganda Police Force, confirmed the ongoing and intensive search for the suspects. “We are actively gathering evidence and working tirelessly to bring those responsible to justice,” ACP Rusoke stated.
Crucially, authorities have obtained a recording of one of the suspect’s voices. The police are urging the public to listen to this recording, which is expected to be widely circulated, and to come forward if they recognize the voice.
“We believe someone out there recognizes this voice and can help us identify the individual,” ACP Rusoke emphasized. “Your information could be the key to solving this heinous crime.”
The hefty reward underscores the gravity of the case and the determination of the police to apprehend the culprits.
