KAMPALA UGANDA: October 10, 2025 – The Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE 2025) examinations are set to commence today, with senior four candidates expected to report to their designated examination centers for briefing ahead of exams on Monday.
This year’s examination exercise will be conducted under the theme: “Embracing security and holistic assessment of learners in a dynamic environment.”
According to Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) schedule, the exams will run until November 8, 2025, and will assess the competencies of candidates under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). The candidates will write exams starting on Monday morning with Geography Paper 1 followed by Biology 1 (Theory) in the afternoon.
This marks the second year of UCE exams under the new curriculum, which aims to equip students with practical skills and knowledge.
The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) says all measures have bto ensure the smooth conduct of the exams.
